I sn't it q uite interesting that the month just ended was tagged the month of #assurance? Many of us felt they were "assurred" for the favour they received: some got private jets, some got the latest car in town, some got married and while quite a number got befitting burials. Do all these favoures evidence of 'lasting' assurance? An assurance is something that should be lasting and sustaining. It should be something so remarkable that should give us hope, confidence and determination.

Have you discovered the real and true value of life? What can I do without you Lord. Friends, holding on to God has proved significantly progressive despite challengies. Daring to trust man rather than God keeps one stationed at a spot over time. When you walk with God you come to discover how important challengies are to human growth and development.

S o often I have heard people say "I am just being assertive", that they care little of what other people feel about their attitude. The truth is that no individual is 100% assertive. One is said to be assertive when one is assertive most times than other times (when you are less assertive). Did I hear you say "Mmm? ". You may say that you are assertive and that is why you always get what you want. The fact is that no one who always gets one's way all the time can claim to be mentally healthy; people tend to avoid such people because they can easily manipulate others.  Assertiveness is not when you have to yell, cry (as kids usually do), shout at others in other to have your way. It is not when you keep quiet because you want to please others at your own detriment.

It is not a curse to say that so many of us looking forward to having a date today, Valentine’s Day, may not have any, while a few who have been living their normal lives, ‘enjoying life to the fullest’ without bothering about having any date on Valentine’s Day, would end up having three or more dates.
