We are not in Competition

A friend shared this post targeted 'A Rejoinder' and I wish it makes sense to you. "In the world of work and business, we all have an advantage over the other people in the same sphere as us, whether we realize it or not. Your advantage maybe God, availability of resources, people you know, connections in certain key places, your key competencies, etc. If we are in competition with others and have advantages that they do not have, then we are not competing. For us to compete in the true sense of the word, we have to play on level ground, and since that is not possible, it’s safe to assume we are not in competition of any kind.  And if we are not in competition, then we have no justifiable reason to measure ourselves or our performance by others or their results. Embracing The Joy of Missing Out by Alex Okoroji

For so long I was living in FOMO and then one day I chose JOMO, and my life has never been better. Today, I'm building a global brand and business, because I tossed out my FOMO.💯 I posted a status update on my WhatsApp and everyone started asking what exactly JOMO means...The first time I stumbled on the term "JOMO" was through a graphic image by Brene Brown. We spend so much time trying to gather information and opportunities that don't necessarily benefit us just because we are afraid of missing out. We surround ourselves with people and content we don't like and say YES to things that we should say no to. We get caught up in trouble, havin...

Loyalty and Betrayal: Two Sides of the Same Coin

Loyalty and Betrayal: Two Sides of the Same Coin Loyalty is a deep emotional commitment—a strong sense of faithfulness, obedience, or allegiance to someone we are closely connected to. This bond is often built on mutual respect and understanding, but it is not without vulnerability. And because loyalty is so deeply rooted in vulnerability, it can easily be broken, paving the way for betrayal.

A special felicitation on your appointment well deserved,  by our amiable Governor His Excellency Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha as the Senior Special Advicer (SSA) On Rural Development with so much joy.
