ICONIC ISIAGU CHIEFTAIN CLOTHING PAINTING ( 100% CANVAS/OIL PAINT)

36"x36"Inch 100% Canvas, Oil Painting of a typical igbo Chief and his Lolo

The iconic Isiagu (aka Ishi Agu) attire, for men, is usually patterned with lions’ heads embroidered over the clothing. It is a symbol of royalty and strength. It is worn with trousers and can be worn with either a ceremonial title holders hat or with the conventional striped men’s hat known as Okpu Agwu. For women, a puffed sleeve blouse along with two wrappers and a head tie are worn.
