The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi, possesses a certain mystique which hangs around him, such that many seek to get to know the man behind the monarch.


Born into the Fulani Torodbe (Sullubawa) clan of Kano, Sanusi was crowned emir of Kano on June 8, 2014.



The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) succeeded his late grand uncle, Ado Bayero.
