HOUSE OF REP HONORS AYODELE DADA: Ex Unilag Genius with 5.00 CPGA

It is a thing of importance to acknowledge the step taken by the House of Representative yesterday to have invited the Unilag Genius to its chambers. Most of you must have read my comments on Google+ in reaction to Mr Azuka Onwuka's post on March 22 2016 (Punch)accusing the government of being insensitive to had seized the opportunity to shine.

Azuka Onwuka

It was quite a swift response to Mr Azuka's points of constructive criticism. Ayodele Dada, the ex-University of Lagos student, was honored by the House of Representatives at the chamber in a rare show of honor reserved for only presidents and top government officials.

Speaking with correspondents after the invitation, Dada disclosed that he had received a lot of job offers, but that he would think on which one best suits his vision.

"Yes, I have got a number of offers. One day passes and I get a call, then another call; I don't know the number, but they are accumulating. They are so many, so it is up to me to decide what is in line with my vision."

In all these, we would be interesting to know what FG is offering him; it is obvious that he is going to choose nothing less than what will motivate his vision.

This is what we see every day in this part of the world; do we need the ghost to always tell us what we need to do. You have made your point sir, but I want to say here that this should not be taken lightly with our so called leaders, who would always like to associate themselves with mediocrity, a reflection of what they project, clueless and apathetic. The worst is that we are definitely going to lose this chap to the so called already developed countries - which consequently we would want to term it stereotypic-brain drain, when in the ground scheme of things; we do not know how to harness our so much abundant human and natural resources. Nemeses will surely catch up with those who are afraid of positive academic progress and subsequent economic development.
